The Mental Health Crisis in America
43.8 million Americans will have some sort of mental health challenge this year, yet our mental healthcare system is woefully unprepared to tackle the needs of this community. As Unitarian Universalists, we are called to act for justice and equality. While we have championed the cause of physical accessibility, what more can we do to make our denomination more accessible for caregivers and those living with mental health concerns? Just us this Sunday as we explore and reflect more upon this topic.
