“The Serenity Prayer, Part 1”

The Serenity Prayer transcends the boundaries of between religious groups and even the boundary between religious and nonreligious groups. It is universal in appeal because it touches on challenges found in human experience across cultures. This Sunday, and for the next two Sundays after that, I will explore the value and meaning of the Serenity Prayer. My comments will be based on a book I wrote about the Serenity Prayer. My book will be on sale to members and friends of the congregation. Half of the purchase price of the book will go to UUCH.

I look forward to exploring this prayer with you over the next three weeks.
